Paws for Art fundraiser Andrea and I had the privilege of creating over 50 papier mache sculptures for the Humane Society of Greater Miami. The realistic dog and cat shapes were used for the Paws for Art fundraising exhibition held in March, 2013 at Aventura Mall, Aventura, FL.

We painted a few of the sculptures while a majority were painted by terrific South Florida artists. Andrea and I even made specific sculptures for members of the local media, including Miami Herald Columnist Dave Barry, CBS4 Anchors Shannon Hori and Eliott Rodriguez, Channel 10’s Glenna Milberg and Jacey Birch, WSVN Anchors Belkys Nerey, Craig Stevens, Lynn Martinez and Louis Aguirre, as well as NBC’s Adam Kuperstein, and Telemundo’s Denise Isaacs.
